I dont know who posted about the bad timing, but Peanut holds that title. We were at a company picnic(my mom, dad, peanut and me). We were talking to my dad's co-workers and his boss too. Peanut got right in the middle of the circle, in front of his boss and started pooping.lol.

I have to admit... if Sunny is offleash on the game lands near here , and it is off the trail by a bit I don't clean it up, I bury it like I would if I had to go (100ft from the trail, away from water, 8in hole in the ground). If we're in the park though, I make a point of it since I think it is oober gross to step in it, health hazard or no. And since Daisy had worms I made a big effort to even take the grass with me where she went to make sure no other pooches had her discomfort.

I dont understand your logic?? Because other people are not obeying the laws, you're not going to obey the laws? So because my neighbour doesn't obey the speedinglaws in the city I dont have to obey the seatbelt laws??It has been mentioned several times why it's a big deal to clean it up. If your neighbourhood is so bad you'd think you'd want to try and make it a better place instead of contributing to all the things that are wrong there...
It's not logical to continue beating my head against a brick wall by persisting in applying normal community standards to a town mired in foulness. Perhaps someone with energy, money and deranged optimism will move to my little corner of hell and plant posies, but I'm done. Dog deposits for all.

As for the 'reasons why it's a big deal,' those are also reasons why dog parks are a bad idea, so why not a crusade against them?

If we are somewhere it should be picked up. If we are back in the woods and its not on a trail then i'm not bothering with it. If its on a path its definately getting picked up. I came across a guy and his husky the other day, going in the middle of a path and he tried to pull ehr away like she wasn't doing anyhting :p Were I walk it isn't something to make a stink about. No kids are back there nad it mostly us dog people who watch out for it anyway. If the guy wasn't so scary I may have said something but it wasn't worth it.

My corgi looks so funny when she poops. Its horrible to say but she always gets laughed at. And my dobe has to physically poop on soemthing. He lifts a leg up to a tree nad leans on it or site on a bush. Its so odd :)

I have a plastic bone shape baggie dispenser that attaches to my dogs' leashes. It's convenient that way because there are no excuses for me forgetting it since it's already on the leash. I'm a stickler when it comes to picking up my doggie poo and my greatest pet peeve are those who feel it's not their responsibility to pick up there’s. I think I'm going to start doing what Mordy does and start handing out extra baggies to owners of pooping dogs. I love my dogging path which is nicely maintain and goes around a nice lake but hate it when I have to avoid doggie land minds. Hey maybe I should start carrying some golden sticker stars and handing them to the owners that pick up their dog's poo....I'd be deputizing them...haha! Gone off my kookoo rocker, sorry!
