I choose to begin this as a companion thread to the one started by a poster who has some complaints.
I like the fact that this place is open and free enough that someone who voices their discontent can do so, that in itself shows this to be a good site.
As Newton said 'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction', it is one of the most famous laws of physics.
And so, I devote THIS thread to those who would like to take a moment and mention why they like this site, and to list its positive qualities.
I'll start:
I like Chazhound first and foremost for the good dog advice, and for the many experienced 'dog people' who give freely of their time to address my questions about my dogs and especially about my new puppy, and give good advice about food, training, and other dog concerns.
But it is more than that. There is friendship and support here: even though I am quite a bit older than many of you, still I feel part of this community and welcomed in conversations.
I think some of your posts are incredibly funny, some are informative, and some, sharing a window into your lives, tug at my heartstrings.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is a community, and an exceptionally nice community, and I like it a lot.
OK, y'all's turn, what do YOU like about Chazhound?
