I had 100% cotton and used to iron all my sheets and pillow cases .
My mom used to do that too. I can't even imagine ironing my sheets  I hate ironing.

But I must say, there's no better feeling as going to bed with fresh clean sheets.

I'm glad my ironing days are over !! I do have shorts with cuffs that need touching up . Tom wore cotton boxer shorts and all his cotton dress and sport shirts had to be ironed . 6 dress shirts and 7 sport shirts and boxers a week .

Can I fold fitted sheets? Not really, but they go from dryer straight to the bed right now as we only have 1 set of sheets for each bed.

I didn't ever own an iron either, but supposedly you are supposed to iron fabric before sewing. So my sister gave me hers cuz she never used it. But I have only used it once the other day, and I had no idea what to set it on. I had to send my husband a text asking if I was supposed to put water in it! LOL

I know how to fold a fitted sheet...however I stick with the "wad them up in the linen closet" method...why? Because I have 4 beds to put sheets on and I have better things to do than waste my time screwing around with a fitted sheet. :)

I always start to fold, thinking that this time is finally going to be the time I master the skill, quickly get frustrated and curse the sheet for being so unfold-able, and then scrunch it in a ball and throw it in the closet. Lol. :p

I love the feel of smooth sheets far to much to NOT fold them, lol. Even though they're going straight back on the bed since I only have one set that's really deep enough for my mattress.

Unfortunately, the dogs seem to appreciate a freshly made bed as well. :( I'm seldom the first one on the bed

My satin sheets are by far the easiest to fold...they don't have the traditional corners, just an elastic band that goes under the mattress to make them stay on (it fails though) so they are simple :) But I keep them on my bed so they don't usually get folded, just washed and thrown back on.
