Brush for short hair?

Crossbone is shedding right now like it's his JOB.

I don't find the zoom groom works at all on him unless it's used in the bath. The furminator is the best thing I've used on him.

I came here looking for better ideas, darn it! :P

Stripping knife? I use it on Watson's shorter back coat to get out shedding hair. A coarse or medium will probably work. It's basically like a furminator, but doesn't cut coat if you hold it right and get it dull first. I know people who have used them on a lab type coat.

Dog dryer - it just works no matter what the coat type.

It also doubles as a duster, cob webber, and getting those hairballs out of the gaps in the pieces of the sectional sofa.

That equigroomer looks in-CRED-ible. I don't have any short-ish coated dogs, but I'm tempted to buy it just because. Also, the video of the woman brushing the horses is so satisfying to watch. Looks like it would work on Hank's coat.

Right?? I want one now lol.

The Equigroomer has successfully worked on the Whippets, my parent's horses, the fluffy barn cat, a Border Collie and a German Shepherd.. soo... :)

Seriously. Love that thing!
