Julie, i tried the same. But it didn't work. If you get a reply, post it here. k? They say that they can register the dogs for another extra ?$$. Don't you have to be a registered breeder to register your pups you bred? I think so. It says know where that they are registered breeders. Anywat, I'm gonna have to leave this little thing to you guys till im back on Sunday. I'm taking a holiday down south. Yay! lol. Can someone try contacting the canine assoc. in Indiana? Thats if you find more evidence. All well, i gotta leave now. Its a 3-4 hour drive.

Bye
Goodluck!

Sorry if I am repeating what has already been said, but just had surgery yesterday and I don't have the energy to read the whole thread, but wanted to comment. I bet this website does not sell any puppies, it's just another "western union" money scam IMO

Probably is Showpug, seeing as someone has been scammed by these people already. They sent in their nonrefundable down payment and never received a puppy and never heard from the lady either. I'll try to figure out how to contact the Indiana canine association (because that is where I live) but if she's not really selling the pups that would be a load off my mind. I mean it sucks these people got their money taken but atleast poor dogs aren't suffering.

Actually, if they are "selling" puppies but just taking deposits and never delivering, most states have a criminal statute against obtaining money under false pretenses. AND, if they take money through the mail for pups that aren't delivered - or don't exist - it suddenly becomes a federal case, as they've used the U.S. Postal Service to facilitate the scam. Fed time . . .

Still no word back from this "breeder" yet. I am anxious to find out what is going on. Either way these people are doing something not right.

o so its bad having teacup dogs? didnt know cuz at one point i wanted one
Well, Teacup dogs are just really really really small versions of the breed. THey are normally really unhealthy, and no responsible breeder would breed them. They don't follow the breed standard, and are normally just a money making ploy of Puppymills and BYBs.

Anything that request money via Western Union is generally a scam. I put my guinea pigs online in hopes to find them a home and I got some vet out of Africa wanting to send me $3000 and I was to return the rest via Western Union. It's a scam...anytime someone wants to use Western Union, it should be a red flag.

i was scammed by this woman. she stole my $150 deposit. she and her husband, Sam, shut down their website and opened a new one, http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/dogs/uid/93248.aspx
I am trying to get a new phone # for her because the ones she provided me with are now disconnected. I was going to contact her on the website above but she knows my e-mail address and it would just alert her to shut down this site and open up a new one. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the District Attorney in IN. If anyone can make contact with her and get as much info out of her as possible, I would be forever grateful. You can e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks,
Amanda

Pocket beagle

I cant believe i got away with getting my puppy from this woman..the more i search on her the more i find she has scammed someone.. and i searched on this lady a year ago and found nothing! heres what i wrote on a different forum about my experience with her...

Well, I have learned alot since dealing with this person...she was weird from the beginning so i kept our emails. I also have paperwork that i havent fully read through but my vet did..i guess it was ok. I have my receipt for the western union deposit and a phone # plus p.o box which im guessing doesnt work anymore. She went by the name Tammy Gilchrist. I sent 150.00 for a deposit on a "pocket beagle" and was told non refundable and would be 8 wks untill pickup. I told her i would call before i traveled because i had a 4 hour drive to cloverdale. Sometimes her emails were nice and sometimes she was in a bad mood or something. My vet says a pocket beagle is actually a beagle runt by the way. Anyway, i traveled with my family to cloverdale expecting to call her when i got close and she would give me her address...i asked why not give it now before i leave but quickly changed subject. So, i called when close and she said to meat her at a gas station off the highway!! OK! We did...and waited 2 hours! Finally my husband was able to contact a man at the number who seemed sympathetic while i yelled in the background i want my dog and i have kids here waiting! She was heard in the background yelling they can wait longer!! I have dishes to do! We waited for her t do dishes and were deciding whether to go home when finally she arrived with her daughter and the puppy. She said she was out of county??? Whatever that means...I got my puppy...she gave me medicine for the long trip...he had a cough which the vet said was from stress..it went away. He also had little bugs or something in his feces which comes from usually puppy mill invironments..my vet said. Hes 1 yr old now and healthy..but what an ordeal with her. My husband even said back then ..i wonder how other people deal with her. Thanks god i got my puppy though.. i feel lucky now!

Thats probably why she didn't want you to meet her and her house so you couldn't see the mill. If anyone has any info on either you being scammed or know someone else, can you please email.. [email protected]
She's getting as muich info to go to court about this case

Thanks

Just from some info I have gotten lately about this woman, I believe she is watching these posts. I will not hide from her! I have been able to obtain some more recent info on her, her new web site names, her alias kennel names, etc. However, her phone number she is listing is fake. I have contacted the owner of a rescue group I work with, and am waiting to here back from them, to see if they can help get something done. I also live in Indiana. In several ads she placed, she claimed to live in Qunot, IN. There is no such place. She is now claiming to live in Indianapolis. I am going to be making contact with a conservation officer to see if they can help, as they do not need a warrent to enter a property. This will be difficult, as her p.o. box is a fake to. Fortunantly, when you sign up for an online account, email address, etc. you must provide a valid address. Hopefully, this will help. If anyone else has any info, please send contact me through this site, and I will pass it on to the rescue group, as well as the conservation officer.

You can report this as internet fraud, if they are offering a service/product and not delivering after payment it is fraud, you will have to do a google for the fraud department for your own country,
