haha I look funny... lol.
It's so awesome to ACTUALLY have pics of Bamm and Middie together... now... while we're on the subject of Bamm and Middie...
When Bamm first saw Middie he wanted to eat him or something of the sort lol... he completely reacted lunging, growling, whining etc... We ended up taking them outside into this fenced in play area that Nolu has behind her house. It was very slow progress getting Bamm close enough to Middie to sniff him without snapping... I had to do my best to read Bamm's facial and body expressions to keep him from feeling too overwhelmed and exploding.
By the end of the day we were having positive interactions for the most part. In order to keep each interaction between them a positive one; I would allow Bamm to walk up and sniff Middie and then have him walk away with me and be rewarded... I needed to move him away from Middie before he decided to snap or anything of the sort... the goal was to keep positive and set Bamm up for success in everything we did.
We did have a couple little snappy snarky moments from Bamm, but all in all this was a GREAT training session. We haven't gotten them to the point where we're comfortable with them offleash around each other... that will probably take a bit of time, but I feel confident in saying that I think Bamm will come around and possibly even get to the point where he enjoys Middie's company. Guess time and patience will tell. All I can say though is that I really hope that next time Bamm wont decide to lick Middie's little manly parts... that was slightly disturbing. hehe
