We've started, since the conference, offering a class in this program and two of us have become certified in training and evaluating this. (I have been lazy. oops.)

Anyone have any experience with this program? Enjoyment? Disappointment?

My trainer was one of the beta testers, and is pretty familiar with it. I've posted about C.L.A.S.S. before :)

I love it. I love how it incorporates so much "real life" scenarios like getting in and out of a car or loose leash walking while holding a drink. I really hope it takes off. Even if people don't actually take the tests, its such a great way to remind your average pet owner of what doggie "life skills" really are.

Well, of course it went unnoticed here. LOL Sorry I missed it.

Thanks for the response. I can't join the first class because we have schutzhund the same night but I am super happy we're offering it here.

I really hope they'll be pushing forward with their hopes for making these titles open doors for dogs.

Here's the thread I started ages ago. It was ignored :( Hopefully yours won't be :D

But yeah, its a wonderful program, by biggest issue is that APDT has really dropped the ball on advertising and really marketing this. My trainer has redesigned all her puppy classes and basic manners classes to follow the C.L.A.S.S. "curriculum" but I don't know of too many other trainers - APDT trainers even who are familiar with the program.
