Yep.........the roads were horrid, and the visibility was nearly NIL! It took me 45 minutes to get home from work today going 30mph.

And the roads were bad enough that I didn't have ANYONE on my tail cursing that I wasn't going faster :yikes:

I guess when you pass cars upside down on the side of the road it even calms the idiot drivers down a little, :lol-sign:

Welcome to my world, lol. I live 12 miles away from my office, and it takes me 40 minutes at least to get to and from there every day. I'm excited if it takes less time than that! lol.

You should thank God you're not living in Los Angeles, CA!
That's hilarious. That was my thought exactly. In fact, my gut reaction was, "Wow -- that's pretty good time!"

I have sometimes taken 2 hours to commute to my internship which was 11 minutes away. No snow, though. We have no one to curse but ourselves and each other.

Well I have lived near Phoenix AZ..........NO THANKS! LOL

I can normally make it to work in 20 minutes, and that is waiting on a train and getting stopped by 2 red lights minimum, LOL

I couldn't/wouldn't ever live in a busy city again, just not for me. LaPorte is actually too big with population 28,000 :D
