    Choosing the perfect leather collar

I think it is just a thread to give personal experiences with certain products/businesses. I gave my experience with PC. I have no EL's so I can't comment on their products. I sincerely hope that this can just be a thread of personal experiences and not a bash fest. :dunno:

    Picking a leash/collar for Sloan

I love what a hoot (owls!) and Terra Firma. Very pretty colors in both but not over the top girly, which I'm sure Denis would appreciate. lol

I CRINGE at situations like this.

Unfortunately, many people expect dogs to understand the "human" world and act accordingly. They take any "incident" as the dog's fault, not the humans lack of training/understanding/managing. It really is sad and frustrating because of a lot of people, kids in particular, get unnecessarily...

3rd day on raw, a few questions

When I first started I trained them to eat on large, plastic mats for easy clean up. However, with some brave (or stupid?) cats continually edging in closer, I decided it was safer to feed in their crates. They do a good job of licking them clean, then I follow it up with a spritz of white...

    Choosing the perfect leather collar

I have three Paco's and love them. Two for Stella (1.5" wide) and an xdog for my Boston that is 1" tapered to 3/4". They wear them in water all the time. The leather has become so buttery soft and supple, too. Good leather and quality work is not cheap, especially when you're talking custom...

I need help - emaciated pits

Emily, I know of a couple pit rescues in the Chicagoland area. If you could PM me with with more info on the dogs and your location, I would appreciate that. I can pass on the info to a friend who may be able to help you out. You can email me at: [email protected]. Thanks for taking them...

    Switching to raw?

Very true. I have a cat who can't eat chicken based kibbles (he loses fur and scratches like crazy), but he can eat raw chicken with no problem. I switched my dogs to raw cold turkey. Started them on chicken and slowly introduced other stuff. My biggest issue in the beginning was the bile...

Breed Suggestions for child's obedience dog

Bostons are well known for being excellent companion dogs for children, and with the right motivation/training, can make fun little sporting dogs for a child, too. Plus, they are low maintenance, easy keepers. Like most bull and terrier types, they are not quick to snap/bite people, even when...
