I don't know that there is that coloring in GSD's then. Maybe at one time...hell maybe still. I was unable to find anything like it other than a variation of sable.

The dilute of black in GSD will give you a Liver colored GSD. Think Chocolate Lab. I know this because I had one for 13 years! The was solid liver. If not for the dilute gene he would have been a solid blk dog. There is also Liver and Tan...
