Transport desperitly needed MO - OH

Hi All,

I know this is not the right place to post this, however, I am desperate!!!! I have 4 cockers in Carthage Missouri that I have been trying to get transported to ohio, since christmas. The shelter that has them has been very patient week after week, as transports did not get filled and had to be cancelled. They now are giving them one more week ONLY!!! They have to be moved out next weekend or they will have to euthanize them for space. They are all young, under 5 yrs old. 2 males and 2 females. Very nice sweet temperments, just very afraid and depressed from living in a shelter setting for so long. If anyone is in the route area from Carthage MO, to OH, please can you help, I have exhausted almost every effort here, and I don't know where else to turn to, except this great forum of people. PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP MOVE THESE DOGS TO SAFETY!!!!!!! My only other option will be to rent an SUV and make the 16 hr (one way) road trip myself, they need to get to Cincinnati OH.

There's a transport community on livejournal I could post this on, if there were specific legs. I can't just post something general like this.

We have transported horses but never dogs. Just a shot in the dark....but maybe you could contact some horse transporters and tell the the story. Maybe they could give a discounted price if they are taking that route anyhow.
