A gorgeous Australian Shepherd just showed up at the clinic, running loose in the parking lot. No chip. No collar. Covered in poop. Female. Young.

Better to ask husband for permission, or forgiveness? If no one claims her, she may be coming home with me so she isn't sent to the shelter. We shall see.

As much as I adore my puppy; I'm really looking forward to him as an adult. I just can't wait to see how he turns out in looks. He's already changing a lot, and will be interesting to see how he is matured.

I was exactly the same with Paris. I loved her as a small puppy but wanted her to grow up to see what she would look like and so I could actually do things with her. She hits five months in three days and she's been a lot more fun the last month or so. :) She's really coming into her own and maturing overnight. I love this age.

Ahahahaha. Gabby's PRA report came back as carrier. Ahahahaha. She is afflicted.

Well, she's continuing to provide data for the researchers! I wonder if she's early onset (current train of thought is the test we have is for middle onset, since it's become obvious the age of onset is different genes)?

So I just googled 'dog agility crate' and one of the first pictures was of Payton. The picture right after that was of my trainer and her dogs. Weird.

I see glimpses of the fully mature Nina sometimes, and while I can't wait to see her when she reaches that age, I spend so much time not bearing the thought of her growing up and eventually growing old because I just love this dog so much. No time with her is enough time even when she's naughty.

Paris has a teeny tiny rear dew claw that she somehow snagged last night. :( We were doing some training on the balance discs and I noticed a bit of blood and sure enough. She didn't even seem to notice it or be in any pain .. Border Collies. Cleaned it all up and all is well but now it's looking like it's going to have to come off.

Could Lotta be trained to drink from something like this?
They do not sell those here. They do sell this kind of bottles here:
http://www.promotion.eu/en/leisure-golf/5198-plastic-drinking-bottle.html

My friend has one. Is it possible to get a dog drink from that sort of bottle? Lotta doesn't want to drink from it. It doesn't help if my friend pours water from it.

My friend might be somewhere where it's difficult to pour water from a bottle. If Lotta doesn't drink all of it, it may not be possible to pour water to anywhere except on the floor. However, one should not to do it. Water cannot be poured back to a bottle because it would get dirty easily. Then it would be easier if Lotta could drink from a bottle.

It doesn't make any difference that what kind of bowl it is and is it attached to a bottle.
The point was that it may not be possible to pour water off the bowl.

A very cute border staffy followed me home from Minnesota. Thinking that I will keep her. Everyone get ready for Taboo pictures coming soon!
Oh you'll have a ton of fun! At 7.5 months we're still working on off-switch behavior and getting a toy rather than demand barking.

Rehome from up there?
