Anybody happen to watch the Canadiens - Bruins game last night. If you did, you know what I am talking about.
I have no horse in this particular race, but if the NHL does not suspend Chara for at least 10 games....
The following link contains video of a very violent hit. You will see, Chara (the Bruins guy, a HUGE dude) throw the Canadiens player right into the divider. The puck was 3 seconds away (a penalty all by itself you can only make contact with the puck carrier) from him and it SEEMS like Chara purposely shoved him into the divider. The Canadiens players was out cold for well over a minute. When I first saw it, I thought he killed him. :O

ETA: The end of the video, the reverse angle is where you can see Chara throw him into it. It makes my heart skip a beat just to see it.
I've played and watched this game since I was 5. I've NEVER seem anything that scary. I've seen a close second (cut throat), but never a hit that seemed so blatantly an intent to injure.
Ugh.
