Wierd food combo's

So what wierd food combo's do you like?

For me....

I LOVE fried eggs (dippy is the best) with toast with strawberry jam on it. Dip the toast and jam into the yolk... mmmmm heavenly. or just make a sandwich out of the egg, toast and jam. I just love the total opposite flavoring paired together.

Brian thinks I'm nuts lol

I like dunk (dippy as you call them) eggs with toast and jam too! I don't care if it's grape or strawberry.......nearly any flavor really, LOL. Orange marmalade is also excellent with toast and dunk eggs

I also like potato chips (plain) with ice cream (used as a dip, you can substitute fries if you must......but chips are BEST)........that salty w/ sweet is HEAVEN! Kevin wrinkles his nose when he sees me do that stuff, LOL. Salty roasted peanuts in a cold bottle of Pepsi........ALSO HEAVEN! LOL Oh I could go on about my bizarre eating habits but I'll spare you all! :rofl1:

(I must admit to trying it and it's not half bad, LOL)

Cinnamon Raisin bread with nutella. Yummm

ETA: I agree with the potato chips (or fries) in ice cream!

My daughter likes to get a vanilla frosty at Wendy's and dip french fries in it :dunno:

not odd to me, but I've had this endless craving since the really cold weather moved in of eating mayo on bread with dill pickles. it's my staple right now. Dave dips his strawberry preserves on toast in dippy eggs. not me. that toast gets nothing til the dipping is done! LOL

I have toast with jam and then put the fried egg on top, sunny side up!

My brother will dip whatever he is eating into whatever he is drinking, such as pizza into coke, cookies into water....Blech

However, I do like some homey on cream cheese, my sisters think I am nuts... Teehehee

peanut butter and fresh chile pepper sandwiches. Jalapeno, habanero, or serranos work well. Fresh only- not pickled!

I like to nicely separate all components of my plate and make sure nothing touches.

Everything is better with bacon! We made hot dogs wrapped in bacon and deep fried last weekend. they were awesome. Not something you'd want to eat all the time but a couple times a year, why not!

I used to put ketchup on french toast .

When I was a kid, my favorite sandwich was homemade peanut butter on one side and yellow mustard on the other and a slice of swiss cheese in the middle. Haven't had that in ages and really don't know if I'd still like it.

Coop, first time I ever saw anyone put peanuts into their Pepsi was in Wilmington, NC. All I could imagine was someone choking on a peanut

But hey, they eat those slimey boiled peanuts, too.

Honey and cream cheese is good, BUT . . . .

I like Blueberry waffles/pancakes, bagels, fruit bread, raisin bread, etc. with Cheez Whiz on it. Best thing ever! Perfect marriage of savoury and sweet

Ok, I am seriously wanting to try everything on here! Altho some sound far too interesting LOL.
Most of the weird mixes I have are me going "Hmm...I wonder what THAT would taste like..."
I dipped a Marichino Cherry in Marinara sauce. Grosssss!
Hmmm, I dipped bacon in my oatmeal...that was just weird...

I do the same thing just with the chocolate frosty and sometimes dip chicken nuggets in too!

I'll try anything once, so I'm going to try all of yalls weird food combos and get back to you on them!

My favorite food combo has to be... fried rice mixed with grape jelly OR coffee *on* my french toast, is soooo delicious.

That is very very good! I do it all the time. Or I break my sausage patties into small pieces and mix them into my oatmeal or grits. Yummy.
