Well they can't let us actually really HAVE our money back, don't you know! That would be going against everything they stand for.

Hmm. Interesting on how many stimulus checks are going to bills. I thought the stimulus packages were supposed to help the economy by giving people money to shop. Instead, most people seem to be spending them on plain ol' day-to-day living expenses and bills.

I wonder how this will affect the government's economic plan?

BUAHAHAHHAAAAA . . . . .*giggles* . . . . . .ROFLMFAO!!! . . . . . *wipes tears* . . . .

Please, please please tell me you don't believe this government has an actual economic plan?????

Yup, I do. But whether or not it works is an entirely different matter.

Too bad this plan is decided by politicians, and not by bankers.

Bankers are even better than politicians at figuring out how to put YOUR money at THEIR disposal with little or no compensation to you . . . if they're really good, you end up paying THEM to use your money.

Well, after reading all the fine print and then talking to my friend (& CPA & tax guy), we have no reason to be docked any money. We sure as hell don't make more than $150,000 a year, we aren't delinquent on student loans (I actually paid all of mine off and my husband is close), etc. etc.

I found a number and called it and basically I was just told to wait for the accompanying letter that states why we got the amount we did. But I'm still extremely pissed.

Amazing how they promise to give me MY money back then they don't. It's my freaking money!

Also, it seems that the majority of people out there are NOT or did NOT get back as much as they also thought. No one that I've talked to so far (siblings, friends, coworkers) got back the amount that wass instilled into their brains. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what reasoning there is behind this.

As for econmic stimulus, since everything is ****ing made in China, doesn't this check this mean we'll be stimulating China's economy and killing ourselves at the same time? At our expense?

(& for the record, ours is going towards a new air conditioning coil...yippee.....and baby stuff.........if we have any left over that is)

I aunt only got 300, she was supposed to get 600. She was quite upset ever that. That is bullshit.

My fiance is expecting 900, and we better get. Too bad we aren't married yet either. lol. He hasn't gotten his yet and he has direct deposit. I hope we get it before our trip to AZ june 6th.
