What was your first dog?

My first dog was a little black and white toy dog. His name was Snoopy. Im not sure of the breed but my mom gave it away because it kept peeing all over the place

The first dog I actually remember ever living with was a male Rottweiler named Sabi.

my first dog was a Pit Bull/Blue Heeler mix. He was all black, HUGE, and had one brown eye, and one blue eye, he was beautiful. His name is Barron. (We had him cremated)

He already lived in my grandparents house when I was born, so I grew up with him, and he was my first Pit and the reason I've had 3 Pits since him


I also had a Lab/Shepherd mix, and when I was 9, my grandma took me to get a pure bred German Shepherd I loved my doggies

A Lab/Dobe mix named Meisha. Got her from the local Humane Society and got my first experiences with training a very unsocialized dog. She was a darling though, not a mean bone in her body.

My first dog was Baby, a black 3/4 cocker mix. I have posted some pics of her. She is 10 and she still lives at home with my parents.

Our first dog was a mongrel called Tramp.
He was ginger and white and looked as scruffy as anything.
He would fly around the room like a madman, a complete nutter but adorable.

I guess my first dog that was purchased for me was a siberian husky that my dad bought me from the pet store on a whim. When he took me home with it, my mom (they're divorced) freaked and said that I couldn't keep him His name was Sir Ken Of The Mountainside and he was such a great boy... My dad kept him, but then when he moved to North Carolina he couldn't find housing and gave Sir Ken to a woman who had just lost her Husky of 15 years. They told me Sir Ken was "staying with a friend" everytime I came to visit that year.

MY first dog is Bentley. I bought him at a pet store... not knowing what they were all about. I saw him in his cage and didn't look at any other dogs. I held him in my arms and knew I had to have him. I played with him in the get to know you room and he kept biting my pants, and I thought it was so cute. It took a whole month to break him off that nasty little habit .

He's been the best dog though. I was actually very depressed when I bought him, and he's helped me get better. Having to take him on walks was the only way I'd leave the house for a while. I started getting better every day and he just brought so much joy to my life . I think he came to me for a reason <3

'My' "first" dog was an older buff Cocker Spaniel named Buffy. My parents had her before I was born, but once I was born and I started grow everyone could tell she was "my" dog. We were devoted to each other, and I have lots of cute pics of that fat cocker and lil red-headed me

After she moved on my Dad got a Shar Pei puppy. He was also devoted to me (and my father). When my brother was born he never really like the baby... and tried to eat him a couple of times... I was pretty young and I don't remember a whole lot of it (I always knew that dog was awesome... LOL j/k!!) so my parents gave them to a lady and we used to drive by her house to see him all of the time...
Gosh, that was at least 14 years ago

In saying that I think Maddie is my first official dog... My own research, own money, own breeder choice, own training classes, ect... My own dog lol

My first dog was a Siberian Husky named Jake--I was 5 years old. I guess he was a "resource guarder" and when I pushed him away from a drink I had spilled he bit me in the face! I still loved him though and he lived to be 14.

When I was born my parents had 2 cocker/poodle mixes named Misty and Cuddles. We had those dogs for years. Misty was 13 when she passed and Cuddles was 17. After those my mom didnt want anymore dogs. It just hurt my parents to much to get another they had these dogs before any of there kids. So I just waited till I moved out and got my own dog

Mine was a beagle named Darcy... my mom never really liked dogs and wouldn't allow her to set foot in the house, and wanted to keep her outside in a dogpen all the time even though we had a fenced yard... she lives on my grandparents' farm now.
