I thought I was so darn smart, coming up with this big theory all by myself, only to go online to discover everyone else thought of it too. I'm going to try to spoiler tag it - highlight the empty space if you want to read it, or just skip over it. It is all speculation - I haven't seen anything confirming it:I think that Locke's dad is the "real" Sawyer, who conned our Sawyer's mother!

So, do you guys think that Locke's dad is really there, or just a "vision" like Eko's brother and Jack's dad?

Wow! I was SOO disapointed with the episode at first... bringing up "semi-new" characters, histories and boring crap... and then the whole spider thing and the burial... heh heh heh !

Cat fight next week! woo!

That was an amazing episode. Great twist at the end and everything. God what a horrible way to die.

Yeah, I can't wait til next week. Catfight! =P This season keeps getting better and better.

Or...are they dead?? Dum dum dum.... This is Lost, after all. They could come stumbling up the beach in a few episodes.

So, what were the previews for next week showing? I watched it on the Canadian station last night (it's on two hours earlier), and there weren't any previews.

I was a bit disappointed last night after the run of amazing episodes, but I still liked it better than 80% of last season.

And plus, Locke DID say nothing stays buried on the island for long...

Oh and the preview basically showed a catfight between Juliet and Kate over Jack. Kate and Juliet were in the jungle for some reason... Juliet said something along the lines of "Please don't tell me you're doing this for him. When he told you to never come back for him, he meant it. Because you broke his heart." [fighting goes here]

Well I caved, I watched the epi on youtube instead of waiting till sunday. I watched the previews too, I don't want there to be a catfight. Does it seem wierd to anyone else that Kate and Juliet would fight?

It doesn't seem wierd to me - beacuse Kate's a fighter. But I wonder why Juliet would want to fight... for Jack? Maybe a lil somthin somethin is going on there? :lol-sign:

Did anyone go back to see if you can really see Nikki and Paulo in all those scenes from the earlier episodes? I'm wondering if they have really been in the background all along, or if they re-filmed some scenes to make it seem that way.

Bostonbanker - I wondered the same thing. Surely they didn't plan so far ahead that they could have shot those scenes at the beginning of the series! But on the other hand, the beach scene right after the crash was a crazy expensive set, so I can't imagine they would re-make it. I have the DVDs but haven't gotten a chance to go back and see yet and I'm getting ready to leave for vacation in the morning so it will be a week before I can find out. Maybe they left the original beach set intact for later filming and all the other stuff we have seen has been on a different beach set?

True, but as I was watching, it seemed like the scenes showing her were pretty much close-ups. You would see a few other people, but never the huge burning plane. I have the DVDs as well, but haven't gotten around to going back to check yet!

Well, after last nights episode... I don't know what to think
I was disappointed. While there was some action scenes, and Juliet (sp?) doesn't know what the black smokey stuff is, but knows how to contain it Why she was left behind, too. And what she will tell them next week... I feel like I watched a whole episode of nothing :lol-sign:

but, I'm sure a couple episodes from now it'll hit me, something will relate to something. I guess

I was amused by Hugo tricking Sawyer to be nice. Can't wait for the fearless leader reunion next week *tear*... um, not...

I didn't think it was stellar either. There certainly are "filler" episodes, and this was one. I think the only real information we got was that the smoke monster is NOT the Other's, but must be left over from Dharma.

So, is everyone assuming that the other Others really did abandon Juliet, or is she just there to infiltrate the Losties?
