Darn Lost and it's circular logic! My current theory is that someone else will die trying to save Charlie, and that will be nature correcting itself - someone will take Charlie's place, and therefore the death count is as it should be. If it's Sawyer, Jin or Desmond, I will be very very angry. Not that Sawyer would ever risk his own life for Charlie, and Jin wouldn't understand what's going on....
I'm also glad to see that, in his brief scene at least, the old Locke is back. Gone was the weird obsessive guy from the hatch, who did things without any reason, and the wonderful, mystical island guru returned. "We all know the island killed him."
I should go look at the writer for the episode. It's almost like there was some stand-in for most of season two and the first part of season three, and now the real writer has returned. Or maybe JJ Abrams is back at the helm finally.
