Where did I state I was keeping my puppy outside? I cannot seem to recall typing that.
But for the record, he has learned to go whine at the door & loves lying in the grass soaking up the sunshine. But I guess I'm cruel in allowing him to do that.
When did our culture shift from taking care of a dog by providing housing, food, water, physical exercise, mental exercise, & companionship whether it be to an outside dog to having to force the belief that all dogs must be kept inside, sleep on nice beds, drink from ceramic bowls, & wear designer duds? Even without the designer duds it's still an extremist way of thinking IMO.
And for example, my uncle who owns & operates a small beef cattle operation has 2 Australian Cattle Dogs, 1 Australian Shepherd, & 1 mutt that help with daily goings on. These dogs are workers & are not pets. Yet they don't look abused or act abused. In fact, they are down at the pastures in the morning ready to get the day going before my uncle most of the time.
This is getting absurd.
And here's something fun for y'all to jump on: my dogs' kennels are in the garage. :yikes:
