It seems, if you have a C section... you never have to work again, or clean house, or get up at night with your child.
Someone else has to do it for you. Your a goddess.

Oh, and you don't have to listen to any advice...you will be an expert on everything.

I wish I would have known all of the above when I had my son, I would have said the hell with natural child birth.
Then you can sit around all day watching your baby fart/make "poop/pee faces" so that you can put him on the potty... because babies aren't supposed to wear diapers ;)

You guys are REALLY funny.. but I do think we should cut Tessa some slacks. I think the whole point is to get her to open up her heart and mind to new ideas, and to help her realize that what she does know - no matter how much - is just like a drop of water compared to the vast ocean of knowleges that are available out there, and only when she can summon the courage to admit that she does not know it all she can really begin to learn. Until then, ridicule her, or making fun of her choices will only put her in defensive mode & make things worse for both her & little Mason.

so, perhaps we should close this thread? I'm sure as Tessa matures, or as life begins to throw a few of it hard "realities" at her, she'll realize that she has no choice but to change her thinking. At least, I hope and pray so.

Ok, so you guys obviously don't like her and you say she's young and immature, but, really, how mature is it to take so much joy in belittling a teenager? Wouldn't just ignoring be better? I personally don't think that purposefully trying to hurt someone's feelings is funny.

She is an adult, and she brings it upon herself via her argumentative nature.

If you can dish it out, be prepared to take it.

There is a difference between having a way of speaking (well, typing, I suppose) or personality that others find offensive and maybe saying some things that others think are insulting and INTENTIONALLY belittling and just being outright mean.

If she's old enough to live on her "own" and have a baby, she should be mature enough to act it, and if she's not, maybe she should have thought about that before getting pregnant, harsh but true. She belittles others as well with her snotty and under-educated remarks. So a taste of her own medicine isn't the most horrible thing in the world, it's a reality check. Life isn't butterflies and unicorns, and if you treat people like crap expect to be treated the same in return.

I still think it's funny that it's supposedly mature to make fun of people. We teach our children not to do so, but it's ok because we're adults?

Yeah and it was so mature of her to drag someone unrelated into the conversation to belittle them because of her own personal defects?

No, poor Tessa, always the victim, we should all bow down and kiss her feet.

See, that's not my point. It doesn't matter to me how mature/immature she is. What I'm saying is if you find it so immature, why do the exact same thing yourself?

A sense of humor means making hateful comments about other people meant to hurt them?
I guess I don't want one
These aren't "haha, that's so funny" jokes. These are really mean spirited "jokes"

This thread is about her, think what you want, but I didn't go "Oh well Pam did this so that makes it ok, why are you all picking on me?"

Big difference, I'm not doing the same thing as her, I didn't go dropping names of other people unrelated to my own stupidity to make a point and belittle them. Tessa does a great job of that all on her own.

Jessie , I know you don't care for me , but I loved your posts ! My youngest was 1 1/2 yrs old when Tom had mumps . Believe me he wasn't able to walk and his testicles were the size of small grapefruits and his temp went over 103 , at 104 he would have been admitted which scared me having 3 youngsters to mother . We had hoped for a 4th and left it up to nature . Obviously it left him sterile .

OH my god seriously? I had no idea mumps uh... affected that area that way.

My little brother got the mumps when he was a kid but his went away within a couple of days and nothing serious came of it. Even when he was sick with it it wasn't too bad.

Then my mom kept me out of school a couple of days just in case because I had been around him a few days before he got it.

Ever heard the theory that if you think you have mumps try to eat a dill pickle... if it hurts really bad then you have mumps? LOL that was my moms test :rofl1:

Sorry I didn't see the post as hurtful.

Jokes are made about all kinds of views....jokes are made about things I believe all the time.

Sorry I find it funny. Tessa cries about people saying that her way is not the ONLY way. She wants respect but she won't give respect. Well sorry I am not going to bow down to her ways, or try to encourage that way of thinking. I'm not going to feel sorry and say oh here let me pay more taxes so you can go get some organic milk.

WEll here is what i am going to hope. THat in the wee hours of the night the words of people who have had such sick babies is going to go through Tessa's head. Part of being mature is learning to LISTEN to everyone around you, especially people that have walked down the same road. THis case it would be vaccinated vs vaccinated, which is worse. Several people stated on here that they were not vaccinated and their parents did them no favors. THat is based on experience up close and personal and that I would take in quest to do what's best with some serious weight.

No proof was given that it is less dangerous by the op even tho several members asked for references.

A lot of us behaved badly, me included and I apologize for that. I normally bite my tongue until i have about bitten it off. IT slipped out this time. Doesnt' mean I think i am wrong, just that I shouldn't have written it.

Not one of us can look back and say I was postively brilliant when i was in my twenties and there is nothing I regret that I have done. Mason will be in my prayers.
