Keep us posted... And I agree, don't give up. Wow I can't believe they charged so much, but even if you receive the puppies, take them to the vet asap, because they are known for selling sick puppies also... Did you sign a contract, and what did it say? I'm sick to my stomach of people who take advantage of others...

firstly i would like to say i am sorry for all of you who have parted with your hard earned cash and be messed about with by this woman. but who mail orders puippies????? is this a common thing in the states?? i'm a dog breeder in the uk and wouldn't dream of homing one of my puppies to anyone i hadn't met first. like wise when buying a new puppy i want to met the parents of the puppy and see the home it has been raised in. i can't belive in a country the size of America there is such a shortage of dog breeders. the thought of purchasing a puppy by mail order makes me feel sick (and i'm sorry if this upsets anyone on this site,) but not only with the breeder who is shipping the pups but with the people buying pups in the mannor and allowing the breeder to stay in buisness. put your self in the place of the eight week old puppy. removed from mum, put in a box for hours. "great fun" that's a real good way to start your life.
sorry to rant on but i still can't belive that this practice goes on!!!!!

Some of us are barbaric, others not. Just like it is your country, I suspect. I have seen the relatively recent footage of neo-nazi sections of Europe's football stadia. I have seen the interviews of Thierry Henry talking about unbelievably racist treatment that would never be openly tolerated here. We all have our problems.

Barbaric wasn't a word I used. I think you'll find I said that mail ordering puppies made me feel sick and i was suprised that a country as large as America had a shortage of dog breeders and need for a mail ordering puppy service.

Okay, you misunderstand my post. Let me try to make this explicit. What rosieandjim actually said was that he/she "thought America was an advanced culture."
That implies that America is backwards. I take offense at that. I tried to point out that it was wrong to paint us all with a broad brush based on the actions of a few individuals. I pointed out a counter-example that one could easily look to as an example that part of the occidental world is backward, if one chose to apply that logic. (I do not choose to utilize this logic. Notice I did not say it was backward. I merely stated that we all have our problems to deal with.) It was my intent that he/she would grasp the error of his/her logic. Obviously, you did not.
