I'm usually surprised to find out how old some of the younger members are here because they display such a high level of maturity. neapolitanpitbull just reminded me of the flip side. She's been here long enough to know she's preaching to the choir and exactly what Blue meant by the comment. Whether she left first, or was banned, she should have apologized for her rudeness first.

While I agree, her hostility and rude comments were unnecessary, I also don't think talking about someone on an open forum when they are no longer here to defend themselves isn't the best approach either.

I know this is off topic, but I would just like to thank RD and Momof2pups for saying that, and using me as an example. Sorry, I just really don't think that's the way to get a really important message across.

I think that often people with good intentions and good hearts come across in a really fundamentalist way, that damages the message they are trying to send. That is the main problem with PETA - they are such nuts that they won't listen to anybody, they preach to everyone and then get angry and aggressive when people disagree even slightly. And then rant and threaten to leave etc.

To me, giving up that easily, or not taking the time to explain or really get your message across means that you don't really have the interest of the dogs at heart. You just want to rant to people, you want them to blindly agree and if they don't, you march off somewhere else.

That is NOT the way to get your important message to people, and I think if you learned to speak a little better and control your temper, you would get MUCH more positive results! If you can't speak with conviction and be willing to listen to others as well, you totally lose your credibility and with it, your message (which is a good one).

Edit: Oh, I just saw your pic - you look very young. Maybe with time and some maturity you will be able to express yourself better, in a more meaningful way. Good luck to you - I think your heart is probably in the right place.
