anyone knit or crochet?

right now I'm knitting a blanket

I knit and crochet. I haven't knitted anything more complicated than a scarf, but I've crocheted about 3 half blankets that I've never finished. They're lying around somewhere...

No, but I wish I did because I think it would be really neat to knit a baby blanket. I wish I had something like that made by my mom. I learned to knit in Family Living class in 7th grade, but I only knew the basic stitch to make squares

I used to crochet all the time until my carpel tunnel came along and limits me.

I'd love to see a pic of your blanket in progress or when it's done.

My Mom was always with her knitting !! I followed suit and even made myself an argyle sweater . Liked smaller things like baby outfits though . Been years since I've done it . For those who want to start ...start with large yarn and needles to get the hang of it . Squares are fun and then stitch together . This way you can experiment with new stitches with getting boring .

I haven't knit or crocheted in a while now--but have made just about anything you can think of! Baby items, adult items--stuffed animals, christmas stockings, afghans, sweaters, etc. Wish I had pics to show you.
Hmm...might have to get out the crochet hook and yarn...
