I haven't had many dogs for myself, but... assuming all dogs are the same size, PEKINGESE. My pekingese was the heaviest shedder on earth. You could brush planets off of her every day and she would still leave behind soft, floating fur buildings wherever she walked.

Actually, now in her old age, her shedding skills diminished by about 70%. I don't know how that happened, but it's good.

She's only 14 lbs, so the amount of fur that came off of such a small dog... MAN.

ETA: The dog that nobody knows about, my 15 year old pekingese, Teddy. I'm actually 100% sure she has some severe dog mental illnesses. :hail: (suddenly dark topic)

Rottweilers. By far. Ours shedded sooo much.

Winston and Ripley were pretty bad too (Dobermans). Their coats weren't/aren't as sleek and tight as some Dobes.

Spring, a Toller I had briefly, also was a terrible shedder. Awful. She had a much different coat type to Dance.

Dance and Journey don't really shed very much. A couple of times a year it's definitely noticeable, but overall I don't notice too much.

My Shih Tzu x Maltese don't shed but Susie, my Bernese cross makes up for them. Her mother was a Bernese and I think the father was Lab x Border Collie so she gets it from both sides. Kris my Doberman does not shed very much at all, never have to sweep up her hair like I do Susie's.

My friends' ACDx (with an ACD type coat) is one of the worst shedders I've ever met. No matter how much they brush him, 5 minutes on your lap leaves you covered with short spikey hairs.

One of my rabbits is the worst shedding animal I have ever met, but he's only 4lbs so it's manageable. Fur flies up every time you pet him and ends up all over your clothes. Every time I brush him I get a pile of fur 1-2x his total size. My other rabbit doesn't shed much in comparison, but still way worse than the dog. Watson doesn't shed much at all. The only dogs I know who shed less than him are non-shedding type breeds. I grew up with schnauzers and they were very minimal.

Crystal definitely is the worst, even more so than a GSD x Malamute I had. Grey and black tufts of fur everywhere, despite regular vacuuming. It's bad :p

Probably my childhood Golden Retriever was the worst offender.

Last year I came thiiiiis close to getting a Leonberger, but spending some time with a herd of them changed my mind only because of the shedding. It was the most excessive thing I'd ever witnessed!
