Wild Turkey, eh? YOU'RE PREGGERS, YOU NUT! ;)

I've only ever had store bought, so I can't really say one way or the other. I went turkey hunting one time but didn't get a shot off once.

Never had wild and no one in my family (even the aunts!) can seem to cook a turkey without drying it out so I vote neither. Give me a honey-cured ham any day.

LOL- if done right, a deep friend turkey is THE way to go. I have never had a better tasting turkey- ever. It doesn't taste fried which is big plus and it is so yummy and juicy... is it Thursday yet? :p

We've only had store bought. Which is insane, since we've had wild turkeys in our yard. *sigh* I actually saw a huge one whose body was bigger than my torso once alongside the highway. Gawd that bird was beautiful. I hope no one had him for dinner.

Yeah.. I don't think there are a whole lot of them, either. At least not like we have dear. Gawd. I had a small herd of deer trying to break the darn fence in yesterday morning/

I have to say store bought since I have never had a wild turkey... you aren't allowed to hunt them in this particular area until the spring :(

Store bought.

Breeze, I assume you've had both, which is better in your opinion?

No avid hunters in the family so store bought is all I've ever had. And I agree with Buddy's Parents... deep fried is the best!
