Duke is picky about when and where he goes. If he has to poo no one can be looking and it takes him about 20 minutes to find a spot. Getting fecals suck.

When he has to pee there is still a no looking rule, if you do he gives you a look. He hasn't started marking and doesn't care about other pee spots so he has to search long and hard for the perfect spot. He then runs up to anyone near by acting very proud of himself.

Molly has a special place in the yard that she likes to go. She runs right out and does her buisness. Charlie is a poop walker, its like he finds it very disgusting and is trying to get away from it even as he is doing it. Cleo has to find that absolute perfect spot and wil spend forever running back and forth until she either finds the perfect place or she can't hold it anymore.

Terra does that crap and I just want to strangle her for it. She'll walk around with obvious physical signs that she needs to poo, and then she'll lay down in the grass and chew a stick. I'll tell her to go potty, and she'll stare at me. Sometimes I get the squirt bottle and start zapping her when she goes to do anything other than potty. Got so mad today that slammed the squirt bottle on the ground and broke it (not very smart). Then I tethered her so she couldn't roam the whole yard, and would hopefully get bored and poop. She selected a spot in the shade and laid down to stare at me. Half hour later, she still hasn't gone. Now we're back inside, and I'm just waiting for the rancid smell of poop emanating from her crate.

I swear these dogs will be the death of me.

Neither of my dogs gives much warning or preliminary before starting and when people yell at me for my dogs pooping on their property (almost never on their actual lawns, I try to not let the dogs walk on anyone's lawn, but on the '**** strip' of grass between sidewalk and street that I always figured existed for the express purpose of dog pottying) I just have to wonder, um, how am I supposed to prevent this? Corks? Mind-reading? Stop them mid-way and shove it all back in? What? Because once a dog squats, it's kind of hard to unring that bell. All I can do is whip out one of my (many, many) baggies and clean it up.
Exactly, multiple bags, every time I have just one....
We walk by several restaurants and deli's and I walk really, really fast by those, whipsering "Not here, please not here". So far so good. :D

She becomes less cute when she's looking at you with that durrr expression, and then wanders off to eat poop, rather than make it.
ROFLMAO!

Mollie prefers Main Street
Or if a group of kids are walking by that works too (I love it when they all feel the need to comment :p)
