We have two wonderful akita's up for adoption. Their names are Kobe and Nika. Kobe is 7 years old and Nika is 6. They are a bonded pair and we can not even consider seperating them, as Nika has been with Kobe her entire life and is very dependant on him.
They were surrendered to AC after their owner moved and could not find a place that would take them. They are both fixed, UTD on shots, housetrained and leashtrained. They seem to be good with other dogs, but they are kenneled alone. Don't know about cats, but testing can be arranged.
We have already contacted an Akita rescue, but they are full and can not accept these great dogs. If you guys know anyone around NC who might consider giving these two a new life, let me know.
