"teacup"?! *faints* This is a term used by byb & puppymills to lure ignorant people into to buying undersized & runt of the litter dogs. It is NOT a real size description.

Sorry...but, as a Chihuahua owner, that term really makes me cringe.

Cass.

Not just Chihuahau owners, Toy Poodle owners cringe too. *shudder*
5 pounds is small enough, no need for anything smaller, it will only increase health issues.

My favorite breed is a poodle, all sizes.

Me 2 Cass. I hate it when I see 'Teacup Chihuahuas' being advertised.

Teacups *cringes*

A well-bred American Cocker Spaniel is the worlds best breed :p (I know I'm biased)
I also love welsh corgis, beagles, and anyother dog that breathes

There's a fair bet that if it says bull in the name I'll like it. All the bully breeds are just so loving and reliable, I've never met one that didn't have a great personality.

But there can be only one winner and for me that has the be the English Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

well when i was little it was our collie we had then we got a yellow lab and holy cow this was the dog for me. as i got to know our neighbors more i got to know thier dogs aswell, and i fell in love with one neighbors red dobe zeb he was the most loving dog i had ever met. but it took me almost 15 more years before i got another dog and it was then we got molly our english springer spainel, she is a sweetie to. i then decided to look into dobermans again, and we then got bullet, he was struck by a car at a very young age, and we were heart broken, and did not get another dog for a year. we then got sasha a red female doberman, and my god i have never met a dog that loved us more than her she made every dog before look like they hated us hehe. molly is still with us but getting up into the older years, and she is waaay to mature to be playing hehe, so after a buddy of mine with 2 other red female dobes (nazzi, and zyla) called us up and said there is a little black and rust female dobe puppy at a kill shelter, that they were going to rescue long enough to find a new home, we decided to take a look at her and we imedtatly fell in love with her, she was a cross between sasha and molly in personallity. sasha immediatly loved her like she was her own puppy, it was amazing how tenderly she played with her. so yea we got her hehe she is named remi.

so to rapp this up its the doberman pinsher for us, with the english springer spainel in a close second and the gsd pulling up in 3rd(the inlaws have had them for decades and still do with a male called max)

I'm a Newfie girl :) My best friend doesn't get it, she doesn't understand why I'd want to put up with all that hair and all that drool, but for some reason, I just know I'd be able to handle it. I love them :)

I have lots of "second favourites" that I can't decide between lol. Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dobermans, Malamutes, Bernese Mountain Dogs, any of the "Pittie" breeds, and Yorkies (they kinda stand out from my usual type of dog eh? I just like them. They're adorable).

I can't name one or even 20... I have hade pure breds and mutts all influence my life in a different manner. Just like people, I can't say who my favorite person is...as with dogs (and other animals) they all have different temperments, personalities etc... plus, now that I pet sit, I see even more.... gotta love them all.

Okay, more breeds that I've fallen for: Anatolian Shepherds, English Shepherds (very similar to the BC.) and Doberman Pinschers.
