Whats wrong with Adrienne?

She's walking around the house panting and whining. I checked her water bowl and she has a full bowl of water. She hasnt been running around so she's not tired. What could be the problem?

Maybe something is out of sorts for her. Dogs are so incredible in picking things up that are different for them. Maybe another animal outside? Hope you discover what is going on.

Wendy does that sometimes... how long has she been doing this? Wendy only does it (usually) for a minute or two, and then stops and acts like her normal self. Maybe she was laying in a little patch of sun seen on the floor too long and she got a little hot, but doesnt feel like walking over to the water bowl and bowing her head into it?

I discovered the problem.. There are kids outside playing in the yard next to us and she can see them through the window. She wants to play with them

The kids couldn't get enough of her. They LOVED her. Even their mom came out to pet her. The mom was like. "is your dog a beagle" and I was like, no basset hound. Its weird cause a lot of people ask me if she's a beagle/basset. Wonder why that is.. anyway.

How' your dog doing? When you feel in your gut that something isn't right with your dog, it's always a good idea to call a vet. What if she has pain or some medical problem. Panting is often a sign of pain or discomfort. I hope she's ok.

Maybe she misses Rocky Balboa? Maybe you should try taking her for a walk?

Lol... I'm so glad you took her out there! To get her Ya Ya's out! I'm sure she truely enjoyed her little outing!!!

Doberluv.. she's doing OK now. I think she was panting and pacing because she saw kids playing outside and she wanted to join them. Now that I think of it she has been walking around panting a lot. Thanks for info. I'll check into that.
