Haven't finished anything in a long time, but I like knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, and other such old-lady activities. I have about 10 half finished projects lying around.

My FAVORITE hobby is and always will be reading. I especially like to read a good book all cuddled up with my puppy. She licks my fingers so I have an easier time turning the pages.

I also like video games, but I haven't had time for them lately. I enjoy The Sims, games like Oblivion and Mass Effect, all the Zelda games, etc.

Spare time??

Is sleep a hobby? Dogs are a profession and a hobby, I dabble in armchair treasure hunting, I solve puzzles (cipher type puzzles), I read, I pretend to write.

Maybe now I can start one something...
Drawing, get back into horse riding, and possibly target shooting.

I dont do much either.

Things I used to do more often...

Pottery making (it would be nice if I had my own wheel), painting pottery, drawing, horse back riding, fishing, scrap booking, knitting, quading (my fave), bar hopping (is that a hobby?).
I hope you've given bar hopping a temporary rest, lol.

The two that take up most of the "spare" (haha) time are dog training and baby raising. Things I stay up until 2 am doing are writing, painting, carving. I love woodcarving, but don't have the space for it right now. Before Robert and I got married I was working on the Albany, OR carousel. So if any of you ride it when it's finished, think of me when you see all the little cherry blossoms. A handful were mine. :p As far as painting and writing go, I love dogs and sci fi/fantasy.

I want to start dabbling in long boarding with Robert, but need to enroll in a tai chi class and improve my balance first.

Oh yes... since I was prego with madison. I dont like to see a woman smoke while prego let alone drink.

Another I'd like to mention is roller skating. Not in a rink... down the street. I'm going to get my fiance into it as well. :rofl1:

I have to confess I'm a wee bit nuts over candles. Making them, burning them, trimming them as they burn. I love collecting scrap wax, interesting molds, scents, and holders...anything candle related.

I recycle old wax by melting down scrap candles (which I get for free) and pour the clean wax into little loaf pans - making bricks which are easy to store. Works real good because when you melt the wax, most of the debris falls to the bottom.

I've got soooo much recycled wax stored that if my house caught fire, you'd see it from space! :D

I have to many-not enough time.

My animals are probably number one. The dogs and horses get most of my time.

But I am also a car nutt. We have gotten ourselves down to just a couple vehicles since we never had time to do anything with them anyway. Hondas will suck out your soul:eek:

I could never give up my system in my car! We don't compete anymore so I don't really consider it an active hobby anymore but it will always be there!

I collect my little ponys and breyers. Yes I am 25 and my basement is full of plastic ponys:p

They are when your a hobby breeder versus a commercial or back yard breeder. They also are when you rescue them, show them, train them, etc. all in your spare time, because you want to. Also because you read about them constantly, go to events with dogs......shall I go on, lol. :)

I count caring for my animals as a hobby because I am always interested in learning better ways to care for them, spend time with them, teach them, and just LOVE them :)

I also like to geo cache, read, and recently I have added shooting to my list :D

I hope once the house is done I will have more time to do extra curricula activities.........at the moment, working on things around the house takes up more time than I would like.

Does schoolwork count as a hobby? LOL!

Dog stuff and writing are my main hobbies. Though the writing is as much schoolwork as it is a hobby.

Reading.

Anything dog related. Even though I don't compete yet, I still go to trials, do breed research, etc.

Um.

Vacuuming? Ironically enough, I love to vacuum, I just don't do it as often as Lab and Sibe hair require :)

I like to cross-stitch. I'll do it everyday for a month, then leave the project unfinished for a year, then come back to it.

Playing Mario Kart on the Wii....drunk. Yes, I drive drunk.

Eating, although not competitively. I LOVE FOOD.

Ghost hunting, so a lot of watching TV. There's a really famous haunted house about an hour and a half from here, going to go stay overnight in June. See if I can get any proof.....I'll post it, just so you guys can see it.

Uh, no time to really do any of these anymore, but: Video games, working on my car, going to car shows, cycling, photography, reading, drawing, and playing the trumpet, and a ton more...

My number one hobby is animal rescue (obviously). I also love to read and watch movies. I used to cross-stitch quite a bit, and I just got too busy to keep it up, but I've been thinking that I want to start again.

I hope to add Theatre to my hobby list again soon. Auditions are 16th and 17th for a production of "Anything Goes". I haven't done a show in years, so I'm pretty rusty, but hopefully I get in this one :)
