What could be wrong ???

I came home yesterday from work, and I looked at Skyler and he was cringing..So I was like " whats wrong Skyler, its ok "..I thought maybe he took a crap in the house on accident ?

Looked around, couldn't find anything..So I let the dogs outside.

All night he kept his ears back, and was not being himself..He would hide in the spare room ( something he NEVER does ) and he wouldn't even eat his dinner !!....He turned his head away and acted scared of the food.

This morning, SAME THING..

What could be wrong with him ??

Has he had a rabies vaccine recently?

Hopefully it's NOT any illness and maybe something just royally scared the pooh out of him.

It's possible something happened while you were away that frightened him, but I agree that a vet check would be a good idea just in case.

Nope..Both cats, and dogs are all up to date on all shots..even Rabies !!

I will see how he is when I get home from work, I took Trike with me today so Skyler could have his own time..and maybe sleep it off whatever is wrong.

My first thought was that something happened that scared him while you were away.

I don't know if he is scared of storms or loud noises or anything but maybe something fell or something really loud happened right outside the house.

Beezer isn't afraid of storms or fireworks but his psyche is very fragile and if something REALLY scares him he is scared for a while.

The question is, WHEN did this puppy LAST have vaccines, and has HE been vaccinated against Rabies?

This is significant, esp if he has had Rabies vax in the last several mos.

I am sure you have done a body check, but a change in behavior like that especially turning away from food is a big red flag. i sure hope you find an answer soon.
