What are some good online agility classes?

As the title says, I'm looking for some good online agility classes. I plan on signing up for the submit video levels.

I took the beginner's class here with Muffin and honestly I felt it was a waste of $160 plus gas/transport(45 min each way). I could have taught him the whole 6 weeks in one hour rental of the agility ring for $35. It was only intro to the equipment, 1 thing per week, our dogs got to try 1 time per night, and there were zero handling tips or really anything at all. I might sign up for some of the more in person advanced classes as we progress... But I just really got nothing out of beginners.

I plan on taking Silvia Trkman's foundation class in September. So where should I go from there?

Also, the SO is going to help me build equipment. I don't have much room so I was thinking of making smaller version of the a-frame, dog walk, & teeter. Then renting the agility ring at the facility to practice on the real size stuff. Others who train at home on the smaller versions, have your dogs had any problems adjusting to the larger ones?

I'm going back and forth about signing up for an Agility University course I kind of want to take. I'm really scared I'll sign up and pay, then never follow through with the videos and stuff.

I have that fear too... But I plan on scheduling a time that would be for filming and uploading much like how a class has a set day/time. Plus, whenever I don't feel like going to class I remind myself how much I spent on it... That usually makes me get up and go. HaHa.

Plus, I don't want to waste my money in places where I feel I'm not learning anything. If I pay for the in person classes and have to go through a several classes before I get to what I could be learning from the get-go? But, since I haven't taken any other online agility classes and I'm still a beginner, I need recommendations for ones that are worthwhile. I don't want to waste money on these either as most of them are actually more expensive than the in person classes(but worth it if I'm really learning).

What your goals in agility? If you want to compete then several of the Trkman courses will work. Plus there are many other excellent trainers that offer online classes. If you want to train on your own and safely learn how to train, then you could audit.

I haven't done any, but Sylvia Trkman is really the only one I've heard consistently good things about. Particularly her foundation class, so you're on the right track.

Yes I plan to compete! Is there any other reason to do agility? LOL.

I fully intend to take classes at the video level. There are so many times you can misinterpret, misunderstand, or not even realize you're doing something off. I want the feedback on what *I* am doing. Maybe if I was farther along in the sport and had a good handle on training dogs to ribbons already I would audit, but that is not where I am right now.

I can just run through her line of courses(foundation, contacts, handling 1 & 2), and that's probably where I would go if I didn't get any recommendations for other classes bc she does have a great reputation. But, still seeing what other classes are available to me.
