We took Aesop for a walk this evening. It's way too hot in AZ at the moment to do any walking before dusk. Stopped at a local diner and I sat at the table outside while the lad ran in for a beverage. Some guy came over and said, whilst motioning to Aesop, "you know a lot about them?" I said I did. He asked "What were they made for?"
I answered that they were originally used for a variety of things, but are generally a companion breed now. He then said "....they're Chinese aren't they?" which I confirmed. He then said Huh and walked away
I think I just attract the weirdos.
Aesop didn't mind though, as a very nice tourist came over a few minutes later and gave him cuddles (we're on Route 66, so lots of tourists for the puppers to ogle)
