I accidentally (cuz really, who would do this on purpose?!) dropped my phone into a cup half full of water in my car. Actually, what I did was sit it on the edge of the seat, and get out, slam the door and voila, one seriously wet phone. I didn't discover it until after I got back into the car over an hour later. *sigh* . The good news is I dried it out with a hair dryer and put it in rice and it appears to be working now. I did notice a little bit of condensation on the screen though so I took it back apart and it'll be sitting in my rice container overnight. Seriously, I am super protective of my crappy little phone, and I'm not sure how I allowed this to happen. The other good news is Tim said "well, guess it's a good excuse to upgrade like we were wanting to...":rofl1: Leave it to him to be on the sunny side when it's my phone taking the plunge.
Please, tell me I'm not the only knucklehead who's done this...

Cant say I have ever done that.

But I did put my phone in my back pocket, go to the bathroom, and as I pulled my pants back up, PLOP in the toilet.... so really that is no better.

New phones are always nice, look on the bright side :p

Well I tend not to hurt electronics but my brother has quite the record. He's dropped a phone in a bonfire, the wash, the toilet, and the bay. My mom has also dropped a phone in the bay. My brother also put the same iPod through the wash twice. >.<

Ditto, the phone stilled worked for a while [since I dried it], but then months later the screen went white.
