We have wolfies, they are a favorite of mine. One came out of the closet, prowled the house all night and went back in the closet around dawn. EVery night all summer, i was working nights on my artwork so i got to watch him. I could have set the clock by his arrival and departure. I hate water bugs so i figure he was helping me out like the little one in the window i saw catch mosquito after mosquito this summer. THis fang would have been too small. Something about it must have stung like crazy. So that leaves recluses out, you most often do not even know you have been bit. Eating the dog food? That is wild, maybe he was catching something that was eating the food. Here water bugs will swarm anything that is left on the ground for even a little bit. If i was to post a pic of it the size was as big as the dot on the i. Well maybe twice as big as that. I am stumped, i have a piece of glass that is an orb, and about two inches thick. It magnifies better then a simple microscope. IF there is a spider around with that much punch to it's bite i want to know what kind it is.:yikes: Victor didn't shake like that when the vet cleaned out the channel that the stob had left splinters under his skin, or even when he scratches his under carraige while running in the woods. The first time i took him to the dog park he looked like he had been scoured with a course sandpaper, he was so scratched up i had to rub lotion into it for a few nights. He is no wus by any means. For him to snap at me it must have been really awful:(:(:(

Poor Vic; I'm glad it's out and doesn't seem to have left any lasting effects though! And wow, for him to snap at you... :yikes: That's saying something! Usually he just lays there and let's you do anything to him.
