So, I'm going back to work in a week and a half. On the weekend, I picked up Nicorette lozenges and a 7 day full body cleanse, bound and determined to wake up on Monday and start the day with yoga instead of a cigarette...Yeah, it's Thurs....What is wrong with me?! I do not want to go back to work feeling bloated and tired, and trying to quit while dealing with clients all day! Gggggrrrrrr...I'm very angry at the procrastinater in me!!! Thanks for listening to my angry rant at MYSELF:mad:

You've got time to get the worst of it out of your system. The 7 day cleanse was an inspired idea to help hurry the nicotine out of your system.

Drink lots of water, grapefruit juice, grape juice. Make yourself a batch of kibble - nuts, dried fruit, dark chocolate morsels. Breathe deeply. You'll be good to go :)

I just celebrated 4 weeks without smoking, and while I still feel the urge to pick one up when I get stressed out about something, for the most part, I don't miss it at all.

I can BREATHE when I get up in the morning now instead of hacking up half of my lungs before I can get a breath. I don't feel so tired and short of breath now, and my hair and clothes don't stink anymore.

While it doesn't make you feel better the first couple days, stick it out and you'll start to notice it little bits at a time until all of the sudden you realize, HOLY COW, I feel GREAT!

Good luck. It's hard I know....but you can do it!

CONGRATS on 4 wks! I have no excuses, except that I'm a big baby...I don't LIKE doing things that are hard:eek: But, tomorrow is a new day and I currently have no stress in my life to blame for putting it off. I love that this place is so positive! Thanks guys
