Is scary.
Yesterday, I had a horrible stomach ache along with nausea. We went home early and hung out and when I was sitting, it felt like I was on a boat. Well, I didn't make a big deal out of it because I was on a 5 minute ferry ride early that day. I had it all night and all afternoon yesterday and it never went away. This morning I woke up feeling okay, but as it got later, I got worse and worse. I felt like I was rocking back and forth, I was walking down the street so carefully because I thought I might fall over. We tried to go up to the Empire State building, but around the 40th floor, my ears were killing me.. When we got off the elevator at the 80th floor, it was bad. I remember walking and feeling like I have a weight on me, like my legs weren't going to be able to hold me up. The elevation made it so much worse. When we were that high up, it was just constant dizziness. uUsually, when I started to walk it would help, but this was just constant rocking. We went to a doctor, he basically gave me prednisone, and the dose is smaller than what they would give to little kids...I think he basically gave it to me so I would feel better, like a placebo, not like it's actually doing anything.
I guess the reason I'm so stressed out this is that I am leaving tomorrow and if I can't do 80 floors high..I don't think I'll be able to do thousands and thousands of feet up in the air.
Ugh, just kinda wanted to vent a bit, also, does anyone else get vertigo-like symptoms? What can you do about it?
