Update on hubby's ankle!

Okay everyone. Sorry I didn't post an update sooner, but we didn't get back from the DR until really late. Anyways, the verdict?

GOUT!

You guys are incredible...thanks for your information. I knew exactly what gout was and totally impressed the doctor Anyways, poor hubby is doing okay. He's limping around on crutches, but the doctor put him on several meds and says he should be feeling better within a week. We are still going to Savannah this morning, so I won't be on for about a week. Thanks again for all your help though!

On the other thread , thinking it did sound like gout , I mentioned ..LOTS of water. Many moons ago I posted about my Tom's bout ...of course he was MUCH older, and had congestive heart problems .... It was in his big toe joint and before they amputated they took text book pictures as it was the worse case they'd ever seen. I too had at about 35 yrs. old in my foot.... I went on a fresh pineapple binge ....too much acid !!! Then the treatment was quinine ..... was summertime time so I enjoyed it with gin !

Wow....I feel for your husband...my husband has been struggling with Gout since he had surgery. It's very painful!!! (((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to you and your husband.
