I'm in calgary, not really in the middle but closer to the border. And *omg* I totally forgot about a passport. I don't have one. Which means I can only go along the canadian border, bc or alberta. I'm not up to date with border crossing, so correct me if I'm wrong if you need one or not to cross it.

You can cross with a birth certificate and driver's license by car/ bus only till june.

I could go a couple hours west of Spokane, pick him up there (if someone could get him that far), and drive him up midway to Calgary where Zhucca could pick him up?

The thought of mountains worries me because my car is small and wussy. (Fuel efficient, though!) I guess I should find some more detailed maps.

(Zhucca, I looked up Cranbrook but it seems to be even farther up than Calgary? Or did I misunderstand and you don't live in Calgary?)

All a dog needs is proof of vaccinations to cross the border. That's all I needed to get Virgo across. I think people just need valid driver's ID to cross.

Well, then the plan isn't possible. Dont have shot records. I vaccinated him myself.

According to the law in Washington State a Rabies vaccine must be given by a vet. So you have to have proof of that. I would then call and see exactly WHAT vaccines you need proof of. Because if it's just Rabies then you're all set.

It would be pretty simple for one of the people transporting to get the dog a quick rabies vaccine. I would not let that be a stumbling block.

BlackMaskRotts is in the greater Seattle area, and so is someone else on here but I can't remember who. Maybe we need a thread for help in WA state.
