Nixon?

Well we already know he inherited that mess. It's just that he didn't want to give it up. He was a man with seriously bad communication skills and just came off as a nasty dictator. He did end the war. But he ended it because congress cut off funding, I think.
And that means what in this discussion?

Nixon ending that war killed what, 2 million?

Well you asked me to tell you about nixon. He was hated because of the war. Much worse than people feel about Bush. That was the question right?

All you have to do is watch a couple of "Cops" episodes, and you could see he was gonna get maced or tasered. I firmly believe he was looking for publicity, and he got his wish.

This wasn't on the news for everyone? It was on the news here.......they didn't give it as much time or energy as they are giving OJ once again though

He asked a couple tough questions, then police started to detain him, and he was infuriated because he CLEARLY had done nothing wrong. Was he trying to be a pest? Yes! It's perfectly legal to ask tough questions! Was there any reason for the police to intervene in the first place? NO!
That is the way I see it too Irotas.

He was asking questions that should have been answered. When we cheer for police interference when corrupt politicians cant come up with a good lie, we are in a sad state of affairs. I think some people would have been just fine with taking the kid out in the street and shooting him. Our politicians need to be forced to answer our questions, instead we condemn the questioner and applaud the gestapo for bringing them down. If the kid got violent and hit someone then I could see tazing, but if that many security agents couldnt handle the situation without resorting to that maybe they should sell cookies or something.
EXACTLY.

Oh but I tell you that George Bush is loved compared to the way people felt about Nixon.

Edit: If Nixon were here today China wouldn't be walking all over us. The guy at least had foreign policy savvy. And he actually did some things domestically and could focus on more than one thing at a time.

Thank him for the Affirmative Action program though.
And the EPA.

How silly I am. I always thought that one didn't preclude the other.

James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

James 2:24 So you see, we are made right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.

1 John 3:17 But if anyone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need and refuses to help--how can God's love be in that person?
As usual, you assume too much. I said charity shouyld not be FORCED upon a person. I did not say that I do not contribute to charity or do charitable things.

I give regularly to several charities. Some faith based, some not.

You think you know me... You don't.
