Nia has just been getting on my nerves for the last week really badly.

First, she hasn't been eating well for the last week which she does all the time when someone gives her a few bites of table scraps. I think maybe my mom's friend gave her a few pieces or meat or something. She'll barely eat for like a week so she lost some weight and is already pretty skinny.

Not only that, 2 days ago she climbed onto my piano chair and took my garbage persimmon peels wrapped in a paper towel plus one persimmon seed. I googled it and apparently the seed causes small intestine inflammation and bowel obstruction so I was worried sick for a day and a half. She didn't end up having any problems.

Now, we have some close relatives coming on Saturday and we're trying to make Nia look pretty so I just gave her a bath today. 20 minutes later after the bath, while I was cleaning up bath towels and stuff she somehow got into my mom's nightstand drawer and took out a small container of lip balm and ate all of it. So now I'm expecting diarrhea which means dirty butt hair and more diarrhea when relatives come and just grossness!!

I'm seriously about to pull my hair out!!!

Edit: has anyone had a dog that didn't have diarrhea after eating lip balm? It wasn't a ton, maybe half a chapstick's worth.

Well for sure she's gonna have mild diarrhea, and might as well do some vomiting.

But she's going to be just fine, lip balms are non-toxic.

Just be sure to give her plenty of water so she won't dehydrate.

Also just be patient with her mess. Good Luck! ;)

Oddly enough, no diarrhea yet. She's had 2 solid poops after eating the lip balm. Fingers crossed for no messy poops tm!

Webster's a lip balm fanatic and has never had issues with it...but maybe he's built up a tolerance. Ninja thief.

Both Sawyer and Virgo have eaten some pretty gnarly stuff before and it was fairly rare that it actually gave them any issues. Silly Sawyer just ate 30 wrapped Arbonne chocolate thingies right before Thanksgiving, along with some stupendously rich brownies and even with hydrogen peroxide, never had anything get messy.
