I'm planning on doing this too. Cricket knows enough for the novice one already and already enough for the next one.

I bought 101 dog tricks book for my kindle app so I'm going to start by reading some of that, he could probably do 15 tricks for the first level, considering the most basic things are allowed, and some agility stuff too lol. But eh it seems like fun, and I also want to teach Bristol some stuff that she can do for her therapy work.

My colleague titled his dog (trick champion) and then he put a dance together with a lot of the tricks and he's performing at my instructors dog rescue fundraiser next weekend. :) I'm excited to see how it came out!

I have a number of friends who have done it, and several who can act as evaluators for the champion title.

I haven't done it myself because I kind of feel like I'd just be forking over a boatload of cash for a few extra letters behind my dog's name. She already has all the requisite skills, but they want $25/title plus $100 or whatever for the CH.

It's great when it acts as inspiration to work with your dog, but, yeah, I doubt I'll ever do it with Cohen.

I looked into it & decided at this time not to do it because of the cost factor. If there were Trick-offs or venues to show off tricks an earn titles (& ribbons) I would probably be more willing to do it!! Haha

I only know as much about it as you can find on their website.

I keep meaning to get more into tricks with Zoe, with the goal of earning Trick Dog titles. I like that they are willing to accommodate senior dogs, and it is something she can earn titles in despite being DA.

I think Kimma can get the CH title but I just don't have the extra funds. Jari can at least get Novice if not more. But again, money. It's a nice list though - I refer my tricks class students to it if they need some ideas :)
