I have about 100 total photos to post so be prepared for a ton of new threads over the next week or two. For now, here's a mish mash of Trent and Siege from the last few days. Haven't been bringing them out together yet because Trent's recovering from a foot injury (he's feeling great now, we're just playing it safe). Hopefully I'll find a nice day to take them out together and get more photos. Anyway!

Siege says "good morning!"

"Now pet me please"

Pretty, sweet girl

I kinda really love her

And then Trent and I spent some one on one time running around and taking photos

Still my best boy

Mighty hunter has brought down wild squeaky pig

And more Siege! I took a million photos of her indoors because the hardwood floor matches with her coat so well

Playing with her new tug

"Give me my toy back please. I'll wait patiently."

"Haha j/k what is patience I Am Malinois"

also I think Malinois are part predatory cat and part gazelle

And two pictures of Trent I took on a foggy night in neighborhood, going out of my comfort zone

Siege says thanks for looking!!

I LOVE YOUR PHOTOS MANG. ;____; Also, those ones of Trent in the foggy night are REALLY cool. I never would have thought of that. CREATIVE EXPLORATION. Inspiring... uhurhur. I feel like trying out something like this now, except my floppy-eared Aussies don't have cool silhouettes like your pointy babes. Lancer would just look like a fluffy blob in the night.

Also, yes keep posting a million more photos of these baes.... they're gorgeous and so photogenic. :B Eyecandy indeed!

Ahh thank you kindly, thank you so much :D I really really appreciate it!! Sometimes I force myself to try new things especially when I'm not really feeling it photography-wise. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and either way I'm happy I tried!!

Yes, yes, pls post more photos of your fluffs 4ever. I love them so much and your photos too! As a way of inspiring you, here, I recreated the image with Lancer as the subject

LOLOL I am so sorry, I couldn't resist after reading your description of him as a fluffy blob. ARE YOU JEALOUS OF MY ARTIST SKILLS? Back down Fiona, the canine art world is MINE now.

Oh my god, I'M CRACKING UP SO MUCH. THIS IS PERFECT. LSDKFJLSKD
This is actually what he would look like too.

(Also, I'm actually dying so if I die, my spirit will tell the police that you killed me with this drawing.)

Thank you for killing me. :'D

And yaaaaa, I love that you tried the new thing!! Trying new things doesn't always turn out well, but when it does, it's like WOW. I CREATED A THING.

(I went back and read my post for no reason and realized how little sense those last few sentences made LOOL. Me staying up late = what the heck.)

Hahahaha yesssss, I'm glad you liked my masterpiece. I WORKED REALLY HARD ON THAT YOU KNOW. Please print it out and hang it on your wall next to your artwork because it totally belongs up there. With your quality art. Because that is quality too. Definitely.

LOLOL it's okay, I'm equally nonsensical so you were just speaking the language of my people. I totally understood you no problem.

Love these! Trent and Siege are so gorgeous.
Thank you!! :)

Always love your photos, these are no exception! Siege sounds like just the perfect girl, seriously.
Thank you so much! She is. She really, really is. When I decided to take her, it was mostly going off the fact that the breeder/friend told me I'd like her, and it'd be a good match. I didn't even know how right she would be - I spent the first few weeks 100% convinced it was a fluke and we'd start having problems after the honeymoon phase...but nope. Still perfect.

She's sweet, earnest, loving, engaging, bouncy, snappy, eager, fun, turns "on" in half a second but settles perfectly at home. Easy to take with me everywhere and great nerves and sociability.

Gorgeous!! I'm also a fan of the "Trent in the Night" photo's - they definitely have some wow factor! Please continue your flood of photo-epicness.
Thank you so much!! I absolutely will do :D

Beautiful photos, as always. So glad you decided to get Siege!
Thank you! And I KNOW. Sometimes I randomly remember that I almost chickened out, and am just like "wow, holy sh** can you imagine? thank god". I'm really, really glad you decided to get Toast too :)

Get all the dogs forever.

This picture!! I seriously love them both so much! What did Trent do to his foot?

Love the fog shots too!!!
Thank you so much!! That's one of my favorites for sure!

And I'm still not entirely sure what happened to Trent's foot, but after talking to the rehab vet and mentioning it to our general vet the best bet is that Siege might have knocked into him or jumped on him while I wasn't paying attention (they don't usually play together unless both are let off leash to run). It was scary because we woke up one morning and he didn't even want to get up, and the roommate was out of town with the car and it was on a Sunday. Ugh.

But in 24 hours he'd made a full recovery and wasn't showing any signs of pain at all - we went to the rehab bet a week later just to be sure it wasn't signs of a bigger problem, and it doesn't seem to be. He has been getting more easily injured from high impact activity though so we're going to continue with the visits and try water therapy because that'd be really good for him :)

Yesss, I wasn't able to narrow down all the photos so I'll just post separate threads over the course of the week :D You will see lots of your honorary babs <3

And thank you so much!! Hahaha good effort but Trent's staying right here. Siege is the good one but Trent is my most wonderful grumpy dog ever. Always going to be my best boy.
