Therapy Dog Home Visits?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there are programs that offer in-home private therapy dog visits to the elderly or house bound? I've only ever heard of/seen therapy dogs visit institutions like hospitals, schools, and old folk homes.

I have heard of some going to private homes. I would suggest calling a therapy dog agency in your area and seeing if you can ask them to consider arranging a visit or on going visits.

i don't know if any agencies, but i do have an experience story. A friend's Mother had terminal cancer and had wanted very much for Victor to come see her. I never expected what happened tho, i really didn't know what to expect. When we got there she had a steak ready and cubed, warm and juicy. She talked to Victor like he was her long lost love. He thought this has to be heaven and here is my angel. He was a melt. She was happy. I was amazed.
It was really wonderful for both.
