My ideal vacation (I've never had one in my adult life!) would be a drive across country with the dogs - and poor Charley, lol, camping, with plenty of time to spend seeing the Grand Canyon and the giant Redwoods again. I guess if I had the dogs with me I really wouldn't care about coming back . . .

False, but we do use my old '79 Jeep Renegade on the farm and believe me, we get in plenty of mud! Charley's got the steering screwed up now so that I'm afraid to drive it on the road - just what he wanted since it gave him the willies thinking about me driving it out on the freeway at the speeds he knows I drive, lol! It's one of those with the big V8 and the short body that flips if you aren't careful going around curves . . .
