I'd say that application contains FAR more useful questions than asking you about every job you've ever had or your address 5 years ago. For that matter, so does the one that asks about the presidents . . .

The application shows that you can think your way through problems that might actually come up in a kennel, and for that matter can think at all. The Presidents/planets one shows that you have at least the education expected of a fourth grader.

Some of the questions on our job application:

Who was the 1st president of the United States?
Who is the current president of the United States?
What is the third planet from the sun?
I'm not gonna lie. I had no idea earth was the third planet. And while I know who the first president is, the first name that pops in my mind is Abe Lincoln. Just like if I don't think about it, I'll say that there are 52 states in America.

I mean come on! You forgot Canada and Mexico :p (Quoting Naked Brother's Band )

Absolutely. It was just more annoying to fill out. :D

But I am glad to know that, based on this, the people I trust to care for my dog must be competent. And not just a random assortment of 16 year olds.
