Scored a new faux leather sofa, chair, and ottoman off CL. Its got a bit of wear and tear but soon will have lots more once the danes get a hold of it. I will slipcover it anyways but like the ease of cleaning of the faux leather

We booked flights for our January New Zealand trip last night -- the good news is they were $800 less than they were 2-3 months ago. I will happily save $1600, even if it means a 20 hour layover in LA :p

I tried on a dress... and I liked it.
Now looking at more dresses online. BUT I HAVE NOWHERES TO WEAR THEM TO!
I tried on and bought a bunch of dressed earlier in the summer! And I used to hate dresses lol. Now I wear them pretty much everywhere. They're super awesome to slip on after a shower at the gym.

Walked into my interview last night, smashed it, was immediately given the job. My orientation for learning the bar/serving alcohol is Tuesday.

It may not be the job I wanted, but it is a job that I'll be happy and comfortable with, especially since I don't have to change my sleep schedule. And according to the managers, definitely a job that I will make good money doing.

So yay.

Parade of Veterans today for retired/retiring agility dogs. I haven't been in a couple years due to various circumstances but OH MY GOSH. I love my club, and I love this event.

Dogs have to be 9 years or older. So we start with the 9 year olds and move up. Buzz was second to last on the list at 15, the oldest dog is 2 weeks away from her 17th birthday. 32 dogs were "entered" and while not all of them showed up because of the heat (my Bailey included), we had a lot of dogs. So much awesome fun.

I was at my senior year kick off party, and somehow, I managed to muster up the courage to hang out with my long-time crush, who is probably the most attractive guy in my school. We actually hung out quite a bit and I even found out he watches Big Brother... which is a big plus in my book. :p I was surprised at how easy he was to talk to, since he's so quiet, but after I got over the whole shock of him actually talking to me... the conversation just had a natural flow.

For the first time in I don't know how long, Logan doesn't have dandruff!

I used this shampoo:
http://www.pethead.com/collections/dogs/products/pet-head-feeling-flakey-dry-sensitive-shampoo

And this conditioner:
http://www.pethead.com/collections/dogs/products/pet-head-high-maintenance-leave-in-conditioner

AND IT'S LIKE MAGIC. I've gone through SO many shampoos, conditioners, sprays, rinses, fish oil, krill oil, coconut oil, vitamin E, antihistamines, steroids, antibiotics...I even just ordered a food online that's pork and sweet potato based with no chicken/peas/potatoes to see if it was food allergies. And this shampoo FIXED IT.

Granted, I don't know how long it will last, but usually he's flaky again immediately after I give him a bath, so this is HUGE. YAYYYY!!!!

I moved into a room in a lovely house. But I've been having trouble sleeping since my room is on ground level (which seriously creeps me out!)

the girl that lives in the room upstairs left suddenly so I got her room and I feel much more comfortable :D so yay!

Just got my first gig as a paid exerciser (for a horse) today.

Also found out I get to continue riding this big App that I love dearly, but moved to a different barn.

FTW. :D

Oh, and first day of classes and new job went stellar. So there's that.

My new roommate was going to take her cat to her cabin with her today, and didn't. She called me at work, and said, "Can I ask you for a HUGE favor?"

"Sure," I said.

"I am up at the cabin, and was going to bring Lily, but I didn't..."

My face went  thinking she was going to ask me to bring her--it's an hour drive.

"... and I was hoping you could feed her tonight." :lol-sign:

Yes. That I can do.

My boss raises chickens. Both egg layers and, once a year or so, meat birds. It was time for the meat birds to...fulfill their destiny...and I'd asked if I could have the feet, for tidbits for the dogs. So, a bag o' feetsies await the dogs tomorrow :)

Unfortunate for the chickens, but I know several dogs who will be appreciative

I just put out a fire outside my work. Holy crap. The fence was on fire by our dumpsters and all the boxes next to our dumpster were up in flames. I grabbed one of our extinguishers and ran out there with some of my coworkers.
