I just bought some sample packs of black, oolong, and green tea varieties (loose leaf) and so far most have been delicious. Now I want to do it right and get some specific flavors and brewing stuff. What do you like, how do you make it, gimme recommendations and share your tips

Yay TEA!

I'm currently drinking a lot of rooibos with some black for variety (and a little caffeine).

Current, and long term, favs are:
Republic of Tea Mint Chocolate, Strawberry chocolate, and Lemon Chiffon.
Zhena's Gypsy Teas Coconut Chai
Adagio Hazelnut and Vanilla Honeybush and Mango Rooibos teas

ETA: other than the chai, I generally drink my tea straight. The chai I add about a half teaspoon of cane sugar. All teas I prepare according to the directions, though usually with just boiling water from my Keurig. I have a wee tea ball for the loose leaf stuff.

If you lived closer I'd drop off the Strawberry Chocolate for you. I was very excited to try it, but apparently I do not like red tea.

I do like the RoT Caramel Vanilla a lot however! I just use Keurig as well. I do put some milk in all the tea I drink hot.

It *is* a faux tea (not actual tea leaves), but I don't like regular herbals, either. I found black a little too bitter in many cases; the rooibos is much lighter.

Love tea... but apart from Peppermint, it makes me sick and nauseous on an empty stomach, and sometimes even a light snack won't cut it. So frustrating!

I'm not fancy or anything, but I take an IV of green tea whenever I'm sick or my allergies are particularly horrid.

With lots of natural honey (my mom's boss makes it)

Yep. So posh :p

I do like peppermint tea as well, but for the most part I stick to green tea.

I looove loose leaf teas. I tend to like black teas, or herbal. I'll drink some green teas but they're not my favourites. Rooibos I'm hit or miss on. Do not like white teas at all.

My bf got me a kettle with different temperature settings for Christmas, and omg does it make a difference versus just using boiling water.

I *hate* earl grey. I'll at least drink teas I don't like, just to finish them, but I won't even for earl grey.

I like to mix! There's a cinnamon black tea I love, that I'll mix in some Apple herbal tea to make a cinnamon apple/Apple Pie tea. There's also a sparkly vanilla and sugar black tea I love that I'll use as a base for mixing. That one and a nut herbal tea is really good!

I have this kettle... https://www.cuisinart.com/m/products/tea_kettles/cpk-17.html

I got this as a going away gift http://www.davidstea.com/flower-garden-colour-changing-nordic-mug?&TF=69F219E5A1A1&DEID=

I haven't used it yet and won't until I've moved, but I have another of those cups (with colour-changing lobsters) that I love.

Other than that, I just either use filters or tea balls to actually steep the tea.

All my teas come from David's Tea. Delicious and they have a decent frequent buyers deal :)
