The last time we all went to the beach was when Serenity was 5 months and Serenity is now almost 2. I decided to ask mum, for my birthday present, to go to the beach with both dogs. We had to go to a beach 45minutes away so there was less people/dogs but it was so worth it! The beach is generally pretty empty and if it's not empty, it is a long stretch of beach and just randomly people walk by. Not the best but it's good enough to take Serenity. They LOVED it. Serenity chased the waves, Sunny ran along the shore, they based birds together, they sort of swam... they had fun. Sadly Serenity did react badly to a few people but she also did well and ignored a lot more, this was a high stimulated place so I can't say I blame her. For this new experience, I was quite proud of how well she did. I made sure to hold her beside me and I did to same to Sunny, out of respect (dogs are meant to be on leash but no one (I saw a total of 5 dogs at a distance, off leash) followed that rule anyway but I at least made sure Sunny wouldn't approach/jump on people). Sunny was off because those leads tangled so badly and it was taking me forever to untangle them several times.

So.. all in all, it was a great day, the dogs had a blast and it's nice to know I have a beach I can take Serenity to.

I am proud of myself too, for once I left Serenity's leash on.

Sunny running away with the leash;

Serenity doing the same; Any time I got in to my waist, she'd run in, grab the lead and try pulling me out. I'd love to know why she did this.
