I know this dog is smart. She is very intuitive, picks up on commands left and right, is a capable problem solver MOST of the time but...

She cannot figure out stairs. o_O I've had stairs going to my bed for over a year. Every night I get in bed and Summer runs around my bed, hopping and crying like she can't get up there. I pat the stairs and she tentatively goes up the first one then goes back down. Then she'll cry for help again. 3 or 4 tries, she'll finally make it up the stairs. It took Mia one look to figure those out, lol.

Summer's special.

Every dog has weird things like that, don't they? Sort of related - Finn has no problems hopping in and out of the car. But, as soon as I'm parked by a curb, the the back seats are suddenly easier to jump into, he will NOT get in. He'll flounder about, and usually finally hop up after lots of pressing... but sometimes I have to carry him in.

Things that seem so simple to us baffle dogs. Weirdos. :p
